A very rare pair of figures finely modelled of red and white dogs with a possible Royal connection. Two children, a boy and girl are seated on the back of dogs. The boy wearing a hat and frock dress is holding a treat in his left hand, the girl is wearing a bonnet and dress, she also holds a treat or dog toy in her left hand. Both figures are in excellent condition having no damage, repairs, or restoration. Made in Staffordshire, England  in the early 1840’s.
