An good quality early Staffordshire pottery glazed figure of a courting couple beneath a flowering bocage. This example displays a courting couple seated companionably alongside each other and decorated in colourful enamel colours with a bright lead-glaze. A fine example of this figure group. Made in Staffordshire circa 1825. H; 7.3”.
