A charming early nineteenth-century group figure of the Dandies with side bocages painted with overglaze enamel decoration, c.1810-30. In Myrna’s words,  “Dandy figure groups ooze personality” and this example is no exception. Although some of the groups utilise closely similar moulds, slight differences in placement or painting impart unique characteristics that allow each group to exude its own personality. This example could be attributed to the Patriotic Group.

Current Condition: Professional invisible restoration at neck of female figure and chip to bocage.
