A Delightful Prattware Figure of Amphitrite & Dolphin

An early Pratt Ware figure of Amphitrite and the dolphin. A graceful, and well detailed figure of the goddess with a dolphin at her side, the dolphin is coloured green, brown and orange. Amphitrite wears a yellow cloak decorated and edged in blue draped over one shoulder. The group is mounted on a stepped rectangular base with scalloped corners that is picked out in brown and lined all round. A wonderful early piece c. 1800.
