The figures are of the best quality with fine attention to detail with good enamels. They depict a rural hunting scene, two gentlemen holding riffles, both wearing top hats, jackets and trousers, the right facing figure with dog below, c1820. Both figures have professional invisible restoration.

This pair are known to be part of a Walton garniture which can assemble into a six-piece set, the other pieces include a single dog group, two small dogs, pheasants, and hare. All are marked Walton to the rear and include a bocage.
