A fine true pair of antique Staffordshire figures in pearlware. The pottery figures represent two Bird Nesters and are exceptionally well modelled with superbly detailed bocage features. The enamel colours are exceptional and this pair of figures are impressed with the makers mark Walton to the rear. The male figure is in original condition having no damage repairs, or restoration. The female has had a professional invisible repair to her raised arm and two leaf tips. A delightful early 19th century couple holding birds, c1820.
