A Victorian Staffordshire figure group of a soldier and girl, he is standing with his right hand across his chest holding her hand, his left raised resting on her shoulder, wearing a Suffolk Regiment uniform which includes a hat, tunic with epaulettes, trousers, a crossed strap across his chest, the girl with her right hand holding his, her left resting on her hip, wearing a bonnet, blouse, and long double skirted dress. Made by the Alpha factory. c.1845. The figure has an invisible professional repair to his neck. There is a possibility that this figure may also be theatrical in nature.
