A lovely pearlware figure of a girl standing beside a low tree holding a small wooden flagon. The female is in country dress, wearing a ribboned hat, shoulder scarf, laced corset, and skirt, she has an apron around her waist and holds a handkerchief and keg using her right hand and arm. The figure has wonderful enamel decoration with a good glaze, a fine quality example. The figure is from the “grey Base group” pottery, interestingly this item was made without a base. This figure was made without bocage in Staffordshire, England c1820. There is no damage, repairs, or restoration.
