A very rare large well coloured figure of Britannia seated above a clock face, wearing a helmet and long flowing dress, a pair of lions to her left and right side, with her right hand resting on a shield, her left raised holding a trident, a Union Jack flag is raised behind her. A truly magnificent figure c1850’s, fresh out of the mould with sharp features and in very good condition having a professional invisible repair to the neck, with no other damage, repairs or restoration. Only a few examples of this figure are known to have survived the passage of time.
