A figure of John Milton on an oval-shaped base decorated to the front with raised grape leaves and bunches of grapes that are highlighted in enamel colours. He stands bareheaded, his left arm on a pedestal with three books. His cloak is draped around his left shoulder, waist and right leg. This figure is similar to the figure illustrated in Pugh but clearly a new discovery with slight differences in modelling, it is likely to pair with a figure of William Shakespeare.
