A fine standing figure of Prince Alfred, where he stands on a gilt scrolled rococo base, his right hand resting on his hip, his left to his side leaning on an anchor, wearing a boater, shirt, neckerchief and trousers, a belt around his waist. A very popular figure, c1850’s in good condition, probably made by the Thomas Parr factory. Restoration to the hook ends on the anchor and minor touches to the overglaze enamels. This figure pairs with the Prince of Wales, at the time of writing we have it in as stock number 001513.
