A very rare Staffordshire porcelain body  standing leopard with a recumbent leopard cub at its feet. Decorated with shaded yellow and black spots, standing unsupported on a shaped rectangular base with rounded ends and gilt decorative line. Extremely rare figure to find, this figure is thought to have been made by the Lloyds of Shelton, Staffordshire, England c1835-40. In excellent condition having had a professional minor chip repair.
