A very rare and desirable pair of Disraeli spaniels with blue eyes and baskets in their mouths. The black colour is under the glaze and as so can not ware or chip. Both also have Disraeli curls to the top of their heads. The Disraeli curls became a popular addition to many dogs produced in Staffordshire during the time Benjamín Disraeli was in office. Made in Staffordshire, England c1868. Both are in very good condition, no repairs or restoration.
