A wonderfully modelled  and extremely rare Victorian Staffordshire figure, Circa 1860, of a laundry maid with her attendant dog. A girl is seated bareheaded and wears a long dress with apron. A sheet is on her lap and partly in a basket. A barrel is to her left side and a dog sits on its hind legs with its paws in her lap. Professional repair to the dog’s front paw. A very well modelled figure, one of a pair, that represent girls washing linen. This example has a professional invisible repair to the dogs front paw. Made in Staffordshire, England.
