A charming and rare early figure of a country girl holding a bunch of flowers. Standing on a circular base, wearing a plumed hat, full length dress decorated with a variety of coloured stripes and swirls, embroidered with flowers across her shoulders and back, her right arm is down to her side, in her hand she holds a purse, her left raised to her chest holding a bouquet of flowers. This delightful figure is very similar to figures known to have been made by Enoch Wood, it dates to c1820 and was originally made without a bocage.

Current condition is excellent, professional invisible repair to hairline at the base of tree, and minor touches to overglaze enamels, no other damage, restoration or losses.
