A superb well coloured example  of the Empress Eugenie seated on a throne decorated with an eagle, on a square titled base with raised gilt capitals. The Empress holding the Prince Imperial, wearing an ermine edged cloak, bodice, and long skirt, a sash across her chest. A rare and desirable figure in good condition having a small amount of professional restoration to the garland the child is holding, c1853.
