An exceptional quality c1810 Staffordshire pottery lead-glazed figure of a standing well dressed lady holding a basket of flowers or fruit, possibly portraying a gardener or fruit vendor.  This large example is wonderfully decorated in overglaze enamel colours, the detailed flower decoration the her dress is sumptuous. A remarkable rendition that captures the essence of the subject perfectly.
