A figure of Sir James Simpson standing on a titled gilt lined base with raised capitals, his right arm to his side holding a scroll, a pair of flags, gun emplacement, and cannon balls to his right, he wears a plumed hat, tunic with epaulettes, and trousers, a sash across his chest and waist. This rare figure is one of a series, General Pelissier and Sir Charles Windham being the others. Professionally restored.
