A very rare Alpha factory figure of Jesus Christ standing on an oval titled base with indented gilt capitals, principally with white, gilt and orange colouring. He stands barefooted, wearing a long robe and over shawl, he holds a book with his right hand and is pointing to the same with his left. This figure is in perfect condition and pairs with a similarly titled figure of the Virgin Mary. It was made by the Alpha factory c1845.
