A group figure of two women seated, one with a harp, the other with a shield, shaking hands, an angel with outstretched wings standing behind. This figure was produced to commemorate the Kilmainham Peace Treaty of 1882 between England and Ireland, the woman on the left representing Ireland and the woman on the right Britannia, this is the centrepiece for the pair of Parnell and Gladstone. This figure is in original condition having no damage, repairs, or restoration, it has a firing fault to the underside caused during manufacture. At the time of listing we hold all three figures of this set in stock, they make a remarkable garniture display.
