A large pair of Staffordshire spaniels with a number 1 raised on the underside of the bottom of each. These dogs can be found numbered from 1 to 6 in graduated sizes, number 1 being the largest at 13 inches high and 6 the smallest at 5.5 inches high. They can also be found in a number of different colours, red and white, white and gilt, all black (Jackfield) and also lustre and white. This pair are black and white, the black being under the glaze. A fine pair in very good condition.
