A really superb pair of the famous Victorian evangelists Moody and Sankey.  Dwight Lyman Moody standing on a titled gilt lined base with gilt raised capitals, his left hand resting on his hip, his right leaning on a pillar. Ira David Sankey standing on a titled gilt lined base with raised gilt capitals, his right hand resting on his hip, his left leaning on a pillar, both are wearing a jacket, waistcoat, and trousers. Both with superb use of underglaze black. Sankey has a professional invisible repair to the neck, Moody has no repairs or restoration.
