A well coloured figure of Napoleon Bonaparte on horseback, his right hand raised pointing, his left resting by his leg, holding the reins, wearing a cocked hat, cloak, jacket, breeches and knee boots, the horse prancing facing left, about to jump over stakes in the ground. This figure is in excellent condition with no damage, repairs, or restoration, it is based on the painting by Jacques-Louis David  of Napoleon crossing the Alps. It was made in Staffordshire c1860.
