A rare and beautiful antique English pottery pearlware group depicting Saint Peter restoring the lame man, well modelled and decorated, on a hollow base. The figure depicts a scene from the New Testament, Acts Chapter 3, where Peter finds a crippled beggar at the Temple gate and restores his ability to walk again. Made in Staffordshire, England c1820.
Current Condition: Very Good, professional invisible restoration to back crutch and repair to St Peter’s neck.
