An unusual figure of a man performing impressment, here the Press Ganger is standing with his left arm down to his side and holding a cudgel, his right arm is raised to his chest holding a purse of coins, wearing a hat, shirt, jacket, and trousers. Pearlware decorated with overglaze enamel colours circa 1810. This figure has been professionally repaired to a very high standard.
