A large figure of Prince Albert  standing on a circular gilt line base, his right hand to his side resting on a pillar holding a plumed hat, his right hand resting on his hip, a cloak draped through, wearing a tunic with epaulettes, and trousers, a sash across his chest and waist. A remarkably well modeled and decorated large and imposing example, to my knowledge know pair to this figure has ever been recorded. Made in Staffordshire, England c1850. Minor touches to overglaze enamel blue, no other damage, repairs, or restoration.
