A standing figure of Shakespeare’s Rosalind wearing a wide brimmed hat, pink cloak, gilded jacket, and knee breeches, her right hand outstretched as if to carry a crook. This figure pairs with Orlando. This figure has been identified by a contemporary print titled ‘Mrs Abington as Rosalind’. A superb and rare example showing the excellent gilding skills of the Victorian decorators.
