A fine figure of a Scottish soldier standing on a gilt lined titled base with raised gilt capital letters, with his right hand resting on his hip, his left hand holding a flag, his left foot raised and resting on a cannon, wearing a plumed hat, tunic, kilt, and sporran, a sash across his chest. Possibly produced during the Crimean War, this figure pairs with a British sailor titled ‘Britain’s Glory’. It was made in Staffordshire, England c1854. This figure has a professional invisible repair to the neck.
