A fine figure of a Scottish soldier on circular gilt lined base, the Scottish soldier is standing with his right arm raised holding the barrel of a rifle,  his left hand resting on his leg holding a hat, his left foot resting on rock work, wearing a tunic, kilt, and sporran, a crossed strap across his chest. A very rare and difficult figure to find, this example shows all the signs of being decorated in the manner of the Thomas Parr factory c1850’s. It is in excellent condition with minor re-touches to the over glaze enamels. This figure pairs with a French soldier, at the time of writing we have the pair in stock.
