A charming early Staffordshire figure of a boy seated cross legged on a grassy mound and holding a book in his right hand, his left is resting on his lap, wearing shirt, waistcoat, jacket, and trousers. This fine figure is painted in overglaze enamel colours and dates to the 1820’s. Condition good, professional invisible repair to the base.
