A superb and very rare original Victorian Staffordshire figure of Sir George Cathcart on horseback on a titled base with raised gilt capitals, his right hand resting on his leg, his left arm across his waist, wearing a plumed hat, tunic with epaulettes, breeches, and knee boots, a sash around his waist. This figure is described by Harding as extremely rare and his illustration, the only model of Cathcart known. I am very pleased to have located another version of it, c1854. Professionally repaired.
