A superb figure of Sir Walter Scott standing with his dog Maida on a titled base with gilt script, his right hand raised to his chest, his left across his chest holding a book, wearing a jacket, neckerchief and trousers, a sash across his chest and shoulder. This figure is in very good condition having a minor chip professionally restored to the dogs right ear, c1850’s.
