A superb large and imposing figure of Sir Walter Scott standing with his dog Maida on an oval gilt lined base, his right hand raised to his chest, his left across his chest holding a book, wearing a jacket, neckerchief and trousers, a sash across his chest and shoulder. This quality figure is in very good condition having a professional invisible restoration to the book, no other damage, repairs, or restoration. Made in Staffordshire, England c1850.
