A figure of Tam O’Shanter on his horse Meg on a rococo scrolled base with the title in indented capitals. His right hand is raised to his head and he is wearing a brimmed hat, shirt with tie, waistcoat, jacket, and breeches with a scarf over his shoulder and across his chest. The figure is in original condition with a minor professional repair to the raised arm, no losses. It was made in Staffordshire c1840.
