A group figure of Zuleika and Selim seated on a titled gilt scrolled base with gilt script, she is kneeling on a cushion, wearing a snood, blouse, and long skirt, he is wearing a head-dress, jacket, and pantaloons, his arm around Zuleika’s waist. This fabulously rare figure portrays Dimond’s dramatized version of Lord Byron‘s play The Bride of Abydos Act 2 Scene 2. This is a very rare figure and only a handful are known to exist.
