An arbour figure of Danny Man played by Edmund Falconer and Eily O’Conner played by Agnes Robertson from the Victorian melodrama ‘The Colleen Bawn’.

On an oval base, he, climbing out of a boat wearing a hat, coat and breeches, she seated on a rock-leaning back with her arms clasped together, wearing a long cloak. The source of this figure is from a Victorian Music-front lithograph by John Brandard, a prolific producer of many cover illustrations. The Staffordshire potters used these as inspiration to produce many of the figures we now cherish.  A rare figure to find in good condition.
