A fine figure of the Duke of Edinburgh standing on an oval shaped base with gilt lines, the Duke with his right hand leaning on a pillar holding a plumed hat, his left resting on his hip, wearing a tunic with epaulettes and trousers, a sash across his chest and waist. This figure is in superb condition having no damage, repairs, or restoration. It was made in Staffordshire, England c1874 in celebration of the marriage to Marie-Alexandrovna, the Duchess of Edinburgh.
