A fine and very rare pair of Alpha figures previously unrecorded of a young man and woman holding grapes and produce, gathering the harvest. Both are standing next to an animal, the boy is holding a large bunch of grapes to his chest and a basket in his right hand, he has a faithful dog to his side, the girl holds some wheat and grapes over her right arm, her left hand is raised to her face, a young sheep looks up to her by her side. These figures capture the Autumn harvest beautifully, they are in excellent condition and date to c1845.
