A group figure of a soldier, sailor, and girl standing on a titled base with raised gilt capitals, the soldier standing with his arms crossed, wearing a cap, military jacket, sash and trousers, the sailor with his right arm resting on the soldier’s shoulder and his left around the girl’s waist supporting her, wearing a jacket, shirt, neckerchief, and trousers, the girl leaning against the sailor with both arms to her side, her right holding a straw hat, wearing a bodice, long dress, with a shawl around her shoulders. One of the most attractive of all figures produced by the Potteries. A very rare figure to find and this example is very well coloured.
