A fine figure of a sailor and his girl on a coloured base with a tree behind, with his right hand holding hers, his left resting in his hip, he stands in a light blue coat and is wearing a straw hat, neckerchief, shirt, and trousers, he is holding his lass close, she holds his hand, in her left she is holding a a keep sake and looking adoringly into his face, wearing a bodice, apron hitched at her waist, and skirt, a travel chest and food parcel at his feet. This figure is from the Thomas Parr factory and was made in Staffordshire, England c1856, it is in mint perfect condition.
