A previously unrecorded very rare pair of Staffordshire figures, a Welsh fisherman and fisherwoman fresh to the market and in fantastic condition, he is standing dressed in traditional Welsh attire, in his hands he holds a basket full of fresh fish, he wears a wide brimmed Welsh hat, waistcoat and trousers and long overcoat, she is also standing dressed in traditional Welsh cloths, in her hands she holds a basket full of fish, she wears a tall Welsh hat and head scarf, blouse, jacket and skirt. A true original pair in remarkable condition, we have not been able to find them illustrated in any reference book and believe they are new discoveries.  Simply fantastic!
