A superb fine example of the Victorian murderer William Palmer standing on a titled gilt lined base with raised gilt capitals, his right arm across his chest, his left by his side holding a book, a fence to his left, wearing a long jacket, neckerchief, waistcoat, and trousers. This figure is probably one of the finest version’s of this figure available, the detail and decoration are second to none as too is the fine gilding. In perfect original condition having no repairs or restoration. Made in Staffordshire, England c1856. At the time of writing we also hold one of the finest ‘Palmers House’ figures in stock, from the same collectors collection.
