A very rare figure of William Penn standing, his right arm resting on rockwork holding a scroll, his left to his side holding a handkerchief, wearing a hat, jacket, waistcoat, breeches, and stockings. This figure is decorated in the manner of the Parr factory. The source of the figure is from an engraving published in the book ‘The Life of William Penn’, Philadelphia, Lindsay & Blakiston, 1849. It is in original condition, no damage, repairs, or restoration.
