A good pair of  William Shakespeare’s characters, Hamlet and Lady Macbeth both superbly well coloured and modelled, both figures standing, Macbeth holding a handkerchief and Hamlet a skull. This pair of Staffordshire figures are probably the best modelled version to come out of the potteries.
