How we do business
We will answer any questions you may have. In addition we are happy to see personal visitors with the appropriate notice to enable prospective clients to see and handle figures that may interest them.
RTS is based in the north of England, the two partners living in Liverpool and Cheshire respectively. Both are close to The Potteries where Staffordshire figures were produced in their thousands in Victorian England. We sell principally through our website but may exhibit at fairs from time to time. We are happy to show our stock to prospective clients if any figure in our stocklist is of possible interest.
If you are selling
RTS will always consider buying either individual figures or whole collections.
We are not professional packers but we will always do our best to ensure that all figures purchased will be carefully packed and shipped to an address in the UK or abroad. All shipped figures will carry full insurance paid.
Items will normally be packed and dispatched within 48 hours of receipt of payment. We use DHL the national and international carrier for all deliveries whether within the UK or abroad.
We will charge on a per figure basis but will certainly endeavour to adjust and reduce overall packaging and shipping costs for multiple purchases.
UK Mainland Package and Transit
Small Box ( Approx 30cms x 30cms x 30cms ) …….. £15 plus insurance
Large Box ( Approx 45cms x 45cms x 45cms ) …….. £22.50 plus insurance
Overseas Package and Transit
Prices are based on the size and weight of the package being sent. Customers from outside the UK should be aware that RTS Antiques will not be responsible for any local duty or import taxes on any purchase from us . These remain the responsibility of the purchaser.
We will refund the cost of any piece bought from us if you are not entirely satisfied with it provided it is returned within 14 days of purchase AND the piece is returned to us properly packaged and in a like condition to that when dispatched to a purchaser by us. We would always recommend that anyone making a return ensures that their package carries full in transit insurance to the full value of the piece in question. The cost of the postage, packing (and insurance) will be the responsibility of the person making the return.
We will reimburse without delay and not later than 14 days of the safe receipt by us of the piece being returned in an acceptable state and condition. In the event that a piece is returned to us and it has been broken or damaged the person returning the piece in question will remain liable for its full sale value.
