A group figure of Mr and Mrs Caudle seated on a titled base with gilt script, Mrs Caudle with her left hand on her husband’s hat, her right by her waist, wearing a blouse, sleeveless jacket, and dress, Mr Caudle with his head resting to the side as if asleep, his left arm hanging over the side of a chair, his right resting in his lap, wearing a hat, jacket, waistcoat, and trousers. This figure has had a professional invisible repair to Mrs Caudle’s neck, c1845.
