A small figure of William Shakespeare’s Shylock standing on a titled circular base wearing a long ermine lined coat his right arm holding a staff and his left arm close to his chest. Well coloured and modelled and in mint condition.  A very rare figure to find in such good condition. The source that inspired the potters to make this figure and others in this set was a print by John Tallis, see illustration.
