A delightful Pearlware figure of a seated boy holding a bowl or nest in both hands, to his side is his faithful hound and to his back a lovely flowering bocage. Mounted on an unusual canted base this figure is attributed to the Patriotic Group. The figure is well decorated throughout with overglaze enamel colours and a pearlware glaze. Made in Staffordshire, England c1820 this example has a professional restoration to several bocage leaves, no other damage repairs, or restoration.
