A fine early antique Staffordshire pottery figure group of a terrier dog baiting a bull. One of the best models of a bull produced by the Staffordshire potters at the beginning of the 19th century.
This bull baiting group is wonderful quality, the bull shown here well modelled being worried by a dog. Totally original with just the tip of the dog’s tail and one horn tip having been professionally restored. Made in Staffordshire, England c1815-20.
