A rare true pair of standing Whippets with rabbits on the base. These figures were made in two sizes, this pair being 7 inches high. The decoration is in the round and very fine with realistic foliage on the bases, the gold is still bright with minor rubbing. They are both in perfect condition with no repairs, restoration or damage. They date to the c1850’s. Two wonderful examples.
